Susana Traverso (Buenos Aires, Argentina, February 11, 1953) is an Argentine former vedette and actress of film, theatre and television.
Trajectory
Susana Traverso began working as an executive secretary until an influential businessman discovered her, and she started in the field of advertising. She was the face of different brands aimed at the male public, such as “Ginebra Llave” (Peters Hnos.) and “Vinos Uvita” (RPB s.a). Later she did an advertising spot for the National Lottery with Alberto Olmedo, Jorge Porcel and Luis Puenzo.
In cinema, she starred in a large number of films, including Susana Quiere, el Negro también! by Julio De Grazia, Mirame la Palomita (1985), accompanying Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel, Mingo and Aníbal, Dos Pelotazos contra (1984), with the well-remembered Juan Carlos Calabró and Juan Carlos Minguito Altavista. On television, she acted in the comedy show No toca botón by Alberto Olmedo, where she was replaced by Mónica Gonzaga. In 1998, she hosted the Sipi-nopo entertainment cycle in Uruguay on Channel 12 (Teledoce), together with Cacho de la Cruz.
In November 1978, she debuted as a vedette in a famous theatre.
