Silvia Mabel Peyrou (Buenos Aires, August 22, 1961) is an Argentine actress, host and former star known for her film, theatre and television roles.
Biography
Peyrou was born in the Flores neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. She began working as a dancer when she was 16, debuting as a second star at the Tabarís Theater alongside professionals such as Moria Casán, Orlando Marconi and Carlos Sánchez. Then, other magazines came from the hands of greats like Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel. After working in film, she came to do a play with the leading actress Chela Ruiz. She and Gustavo Pastorini worked in various places, and most of the exponents were the representatives of the disco dance mania of the seventies and early eighties.
She is the mother of a son born in 1995, noted with the surname Castaña, initially as the son of her fleeting summer partner that year, the singer Humberto Vicente “Cacho” Castaña, recorded as born with the surname of the tango player, after negative paternity studies, they legally removed that surname from Peyrou’s son.
He was part of the cast of “La Fama es pure Cuento” on the corner “Homero Manzi” (2004/5) along with Delfor Medina, Tito Reyes, Gaby “the sensual voice of tango” and Francisco Llanos. Balcarcean writer José Valle wrote the script.
The media controversy in this regard was revived in April 2013 (Silvia’s son was about to come of age) because Cacho Castaña, in a television report, brought up the topic on a Saturday night with the interviewer Luis Ventura.
For the Home Video market, she shined in Los Blue Jeans with Beto César, El Show de la Risa with Jorge Corona and the celebrated Assault and Rape on 69th Street.
