Judith Gabbani, stage name of Olga Judith Gabbani (Buenos Aires, April 12, 1958), is an Argentine actress, model, vedette, businesswoman and host known for her soap opera roles.
Career
Born in Capital Federal, she spent her early years in Lanús (Greater Buenos Aires). Her mother gave her stage name when she discovered that her father wanted to name her after her first girlfriend.
Gabbani started as a model at 17 and then made dozens of television appearances, such as The Benvenuto Family, Porcel’s Cats and Mice, No Touch Button, and Dad’s Secrets. In cinema, she worked on films directed by Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel.
She also ventured as an advertising model, such as in the commercial for Quilmes beer before the 86 World Cup, in which she appeared alongside Teto Medina.
In 2000, she debuted as a host with the program El Diccionario, which aired on Utilísima Satelital. In the ’90s, she had already been co-hosted with Juan Alberto Mateyko.
She is dedicated to the profession of businesswoman in the cosmetic area.
Judith Gabbani is known for Los secretos de papá (2004), Cara a cara (1983) and Atracción peculiar (1988).
