Silvia Scott was an Argentine actress, dancer and vedette.
Second highly successful vedette in the Buenos Aires theatres under the Revista genre, Silvia Scott knew how to spread her feathers along with other half vedettes of the stature of Katia Iaros, Adriana Parets, Hilda Mayo, the sister’s Norma Pons and Mimí Pons, Susana Rubio and Julia Alson, among others.
Publicists called her The Queen of the Mokini for her elegance and sculptural body, which she wore with attractive clothes. She trained vocationally in dance after being part of the staff of dancers at the Teatro Colón.
She had a famous romance with the actor and comedian Rafael Carret. She later married the doctor Miguel Enrique Bellizzi, who performed the first heart transplant in Argentina. After Scott’s death, he committed suicide on November 20, 1991.
