Bobby Shaw, who also appeared under the name Laurie Sands (her real name?). Bobby wasn’t strictly a Spick and Span girl like Nicola Taylor or Anne Scott, as she was a professional working the circuit at the time. She can also be found in more low-rent “dirty” magazines of the day like Torso, Cutie Capers and Flirt. She also appeared to do private camera club work, of which I have some evidence. Amazingly, she popped up in a couple of episodes of Monty Python, notably as the “girl with big tits” who won the “summarise Marcel Proust in 30 seconds” sketch. I’m fascinated to know how she got that gig! Anyway, here’s Bobby gracing the cover of Spick in November 67 (one of the best covers ever!), a couple of typically enticing Spick and Span shots, and Bobby on the cover of Flirt.
