Emilia Mazer (Born November 11, 1965, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine film, theatre, and television actress.
She has directed her projects in independent theatre, such as Looking for Madonna, alongside C. Demartino, about the novel by E. Medina that she adapted for the theatre. Then came Romeo and Juliet, Joan, about the life of Joan of Arc and Frida and I, about the life of Frida Kahlo. For 15 years, she has been primarily dedicated to teaching, giving classes and seminars at her acting studio in the Boedo neighbourhood, where she has three levels of training. Every once in a while, she appears to be starring in a series or series of unitarians and making special appearances in soap operas. At the beginning of her career, she starred in films such as Los niños de la guerra, Mirta, de Liniers a Istanbul (also known as Sentimientos), and 11 other titles. Her main works in cinema earned her numerous awards and nominations, as well as her work in theatre, an activity she continually carries out in Buenos Aires and on tour throughout Argentina. She was on tour with Eva and Victoria alongside Norma Pons. She will soon be on tour in Buenos Aires with Looking for Madonna on Paseo La Plaza, Cortazar room. Her main works on television have been Men of Law, Truth Consequence, Por ese Palpitar (author of the original idea), Mujeres Asesinas and lately, The Chosen One, The Man of Your Life and Stories from the Heart. She is remembered for her role as Rosario, the evil Nano, and also for Floricienta’s mother.
