Maureen Renzen is known for Frank en Eva (1973), Grijpstra & De Gier (1979) and The Anatomy of a Pin-Up (1971).
Maureen Renzen became a glamour model for magazines like Playboy, Penthouse, and Lui. She even worked a while for Penthouse magazine, touring throughout the USA to promote the magazine. She also played in some Dutch movies in the 1970s.
In the 1980s, she started her modelling agency and judged many beauty pageants in the Netherlands.
She is considered one of the most beautiful women to become Miss Holland: Maureen Renzen. Before she went to the Miss Universe in Miami Beach, Florida, she went with other Miss Universe participants to Japan to visit the World Exhibition, where the Queen of the Exhibition was also elected. The winner of that election was Miss Malaysia.
From the minute she set foot on American soil, Maureen was a favourite for the Miss Universe crown. When the results of the top 10 in swimsuits after the preliminaries were announced, and Maureen was one of them, hopes were high for the first Miss Universe from the Netherlands.
Unfortunately,, Maureen just missed the semi-finals. The Miss Universe and the Miss Expo in Japan were the only two international pageants Maureen represented in the Netherlands.
