COME AND JOIN US TO OUR EVENTS AND EXPERIENCE THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE CAMERA CLUBS DURING THE 60s.
Aiming to re-create the atmosphere of the camera clubs during the ’60s and early 70s, the Flash Vintage Camer Club offers the challenge to go back in time and enjoy a unique experience.
Imagine yourself as Harrison Marks and take the same style of images using the same lighting equipment and props.
Group shoots with models and continuous light, the same lightning system from that era.
Sometimes with backgrounds, sometimes on locations including outdoor shoots if weather allows, but always fun and simple.
We encourage participants to shoot using film cameras and organize print days, allowing members to use our darkroom equipment.
Darkroom equipment is also available for hire if you wish to work at home.
Digital cameras are permitted; however, if you want to participate in all activities and exhibitions organized for the club, we will ask that the images recreate the style of UK pin-up photographers like Harrison Marks. You will also get the model release if you aim to do this.
All sessions will be led by an experienced photographer who will provide any support if needed.

One of the challenges is that if the Photographs include nudity, the pubic area must be brushed/hidden/whitened (As you can see in the images published in Kamera magazine)
